Attempt made to rob Derry pizza delivery driver

Police in Derry are appealing for information about the attempted robbery of a fast food delivery driver in the city at the weekend.
The man had just completed a delivery in Virginia Court at 7.30 on Saturday, when he noticed two males running down a nearby alleyway towards the Trench Road.
When he reached his car, and got into it, a brick was then thrown through the driver’s side window, and the men demanded money.
The delivery man managed to drive off and no money was taken.
His assailants were aged in their late teens or early 20s, wearing dark clothing and wielding iron bars.
