Security alert on Brigade Road in Derry

Police are currently in attendance at a security alert on the Brigade Road, Derry following the find of a suspicious object in the area.

Inspector Jonathan Hunter said: “The Brigade Road is closed between the Rossdowney Road roundabout and McGarvey Court.
“A number of houses have been evacuated and the Lincoln Court Community Centre has been made available for any residents that need shelter.”
