Donegal County Council is being accused of neglecting the islands off the county’s coast.
The charge comes from Councillor Micheal Cholm Mac Giolla Easbuig as he welcomed news that a water supply is expected to be returned to Gola Island by next week.
It emerged earlier this month that the water supply from the mainland hadn’t been operation for three months with islanders having to transport their own water over.
