As Mark English recovers from a foot injury, The European silver and bronze 800m medalist spent some time on Friday back at his old school in St. Eunan’s College in Letterkenny.
As part of the Sky Sports -Living for Sport programme, Mark, who is part of the Sky Sports Scholarship scheme joined Christy Toye in talking to the students about their life experiences.
Mark expects to be back in training in the coming weeks as the Letterkenny man looks to put his Olympic dream back on track.
He’s currently in a protective boot after suffering a stress reaction in his fourth metatarsal at the start of March, an injury which started by stepping in a pothole, ruling him out of the World Indoor Championships in Portland.
