A major television production is set to begin filming in Inishowen later this month.
RTÉ’s The Unreal has been awarded a budget of more than €1 million for the production.
The spooky children’s drama will be in the county to film its third season.
The selection of Donegal following work by Donegal County Council and the Donegal Film Office.
Cllr Joy Beard has welcomed the decision to use Inishowen as a filming location.
She says the production will provide a welcome boost for the local economy:
