The Ireland Under-20s have sealed their place in the semi-finals at the World Under-20 Championships after a bonus-point win over Georgia.
Nigel Carolan’s side bounced-back from conceding an early try to register a 35 points to 7 victory against a 14-man opposition.
Hugo Keenan, Johnny McPhillips, Terry Kennedy and Andrew Porter all crossed for tries, with McPhillips also adding 13 points with the boot.
Conall Boomer started for Ireland,The Donegal connection to the Belfast flanker comes on his mothers side.
Theresa Gillespie is a native of Portnoo in county.
The win means that Ireland have progressed to the semi-finals as Pool A winners and will play Argentina in Monday’s semi final.
