Athletics review: Lifford hammer-thrower Brendan O’Donnell wins with a new personal best

There was athletics action today in Belfast with local competitors taking part.
John Kelly of Finn Valley AC won the senior shot competition with a throw of 15.85 metres.
Brendan O’Donnell, from Lifford, won the under-18 hammer with a personal best throw of 67.72 metres in poor conditions.
Sommer Lecky of Finn Valley AC won the under-18 high jump, while teammate Bridget McDyre won the under-18 shot.
