Drinks and Hospitality sector supports 7,575 jobs in Donegal – Survey

A campaign launched by the drinks and hospitality sector says that more than 7,500 jobs are supported by the sector in Donegal.
The “Support Your Local” campaign has launched an employment trail map, which highlights the wage and jobs contribution of the industry in each constituency in Ireland, on foot of research carried out by economist Tony Foley.
The research, supported by Heineken, found the drinks and hospitality industry supports 7,575 jobs in Donegal, with a wages contribution of €157m.
The campaign is now calling for a 15% reduction in alcohol excise as a means supporting that growth and promoting future investment in the sector.
