Five Donegal boxers were competing in the Ulster Senior Championships 2016 last night.
The fighters were in action at the Dockworkers’ Club in Belfast on Friday evening and all five competed in the Ulster seniors.
Martin Lynch of Illies Golden Gloves won in the middle weight (75kg) division against Christopher McClean of Two Castles.
Illies clubmates Garbhan Friel and Cathal Browne fought each other in the light heavy weight section (81kg), with Garbhan winning that bout.
Davit Tsotsoria of Illies took on Letterkenny’s Michael McGonigley in the heavyweight division (91kg) and it was the Buncrana man who won.
