A family of five, including three children were robbed at gunpoint by a gang in Buncrana this morning.
Three men, all thought to be armed, entered a private residence in the Kinnego area of Buncrana.
They stole a sum of cash and the home owners car. No shots were fired.
Gardai responding to an emergency call arrested one man close to the scene – he is currently being questioned by gardai in Buncrana.
