Claims have been made that the Out-of-Hours GP service in Strabane is failing the people with only 40% of cover being provided on a weekly basis.
MLA Daniel McCrossan said a meeting with the managing director of Western Urgent Care confirmed his fears that the service in Strabane is one of the worst in the whole Western Trust area.
Patients who cannot be seen at the local health centre during Out-of-Hours are redirected to the Emergency department at Altnagelvin Hospital in Derry.
