Ant & Dec’s cheeky antics might have the nation in stitches every night, but for Ant’s pet dog it couldn’t be more different!
The presenter’s wife Lisa Armstrong revealed that their chocolate Labrador Hurley was missing his owner so much while Ant was in Australia that he would cry when he saw Ant on TV. Answering fans of Twitter, she wrote: “Don’t like to mention his name either as he starts to whimper and thinks he’s at the door.” As HELLO! reported previously, Ant also revealed how much he was misses Lisa and Hurley. He said: “I’m missing the missus and the dog, the dog sent me a birthday card with big paw prints on it! But I feel great, I feel like I’m 25. I’m having a good time.”
Ant revealed he was missing his dog
Ant and Dec have previously opened up about their pet pooches, joking that the pair get on well, giving them an excuse to take them for walks and take a trip to the pub together. Dec revealed: “We had a bit of time off last summer so we thought it would be good to get dogs and spend time with them while they were puppies.

“Now our dogs are best mates… It’s nice because we’ve got the excuse that we need to take the dogs for a walk now and then we stop for a pint.” Ant added: “It’s funny because mine’s a chocolate lab… and his is a daschund called Rocky. The size different is ridiculous. Your dog could walk under my dog and not get wet. They are best friends. God aye, they love each other. I can’t walk past his house now without Hurley pulling me off to try and go in/”
