Mc Elduff to meet SF leadership over controversial tweet

Sinn Féin’s leadership will meet with West Tyrone MP Barry McElduff today over a controversial social media post which showed him with a loaf of Kingsmill bread on his head on the anniversary of the Kingsmills massacre.
Mr McElduff posted the video on Twitter on Friday, the 42nd anniversary of the atrocity in which ten Protestant workmen were murdered by the IRA. One man survived.
Mr Mc Elduff has apologised, saying he did not realise there was a possible link between the brand name and anniversary.
