Fermanagh and Omagh District Council have received support from Donegal County Council in their pursuit for a Border Corridor Rural Roads Investment Programme and for a Border Corridor Roads Summit.
In correspondence Director of Roads Services at Donegal County Council Bryan Cannon said the council Executive ‘will support all initiatives that may increase funding for rural roads in the border region.’
He highlighted that County Donegal shares in excess of 90% of its land border with Fermanagh and Omagh District Council and Derry City and Strabane District Council.
