Casualty airlifted to hospital in Glenveagh rescue

A hill walker is being treated in hospital after getting into difficulty in Glenveagh National Park yesterday evening.
The alarm was raised following reports of missing walkers, with Donegal Mountain Rescue tasked to assist in the search at around 5pm.
Two hours later a casualty was located and airlifted to Letterkenny University Hospital with the search then stood down for the night.
