Number awaiting admission to LUH drops significantly

There were 10 people waiting on a bed at Letterkenny University Hospital this morning, down significantly on yesterday’s figure of 35.
According to the INMO all patients were waiting on wards or on overflow areas.
Nationally, there were 326 people awaiting admission to hospitals across the country today.
University Hospital Limerick is the most overcrowded hospital today with 43 people waiting on a bed there.
