It’s been confirmed that a public meeting will take place in Moville on Friday to discuss the imminent arrival of 100 asylum seekers to live in the Caiseal Mara Hotel, following the agreement of a one year contract with the owners.
The meeting at 7pm in the Glencrow Hall will be attended by local representatives and officials from the Reception Integration Agency.
Cllr Martin Farren says local people are receptive to the asylum seekers, but they need information about how the process works…………
