Darren Cole leaves Derry City

Defender Darren Cole has left Derry City.
The Scottish centre half, signed by Kenny Shiels midway through the 2017 campaign, has been out of contract since last month, and it’s understood he has been told by new boss Declan Devine that he is not part of his plans for the new season.
The former Rangers man has been linked with a move back to Scotland – while it’s thought Linfield and Sligo Rovers have also shown interest
