Donegal County Council has approved plans for a Town Park in Drumboe, with detailed discussions now getting underway with the land owner.
The park will be a stand alone venture, a suggestion that an all-weather multi-purpose pitch be included has been amended, it will not be located at an alternative site, closer to other sporting amenities.
Cllr Patrick Mc Gowan proposed proceeding with the plans after speaking to the land owners at both sites.
