The ESB has threatened to cut off the power supply to the sewage system at a Letterkenny housing estate because it is owed a substantial amount of cash.
The letter states the ESB will cut off power to the pumps in College PArk in Gelncar from Monday 21 November, due to the failure of the account holder to pay their electricity bill.
If the pumps are shut down, it could have implications for the residents of the adjoining housing estates of Willowbrook, The Elms and Glenoughty.
