Letterkenny Town councillors are to undertake training to help people with mental health issues.
At Monday nights Town Council monthly meeting, Cllr Jimmy Kavanagh asked was there any training council members could participate in.
He said that Councillors were sometimes approached by people from the area or suffering from stress.
Director of Nursing with the Donegal Mental Health Network, Kevin Mills, told councillors that a number of training courses are available:
