Golfers hopeful on continuing play

The GUI and the ILGU are to release a statement today on play under level 5 restrictions .
Their intended direction to members and clubs was expected last night but they say they are in continuing talks with Sport Ireland about new restrictions.
They hope to allow players to play on, either socially or competitively, in the Republic while adhering to public health guidelines.
Golfers in Northern Ireland are allowed to play under the Stormont Assembly’s restrictions.
