McConalogue says EU approval for schemes is significant

The Minister for Agriculture has secured funding for a number of vital farming schemes next year, after the European Commission gave the green light to the Department of Agriculture to proceed.
Thousands of farmers will receive over €600 million in 2021 under a number of schemes.
