Health Minister Stephen Donnelly says he’s nervous about re-opening the economy through May as the cabinet meets to sign off on the latest plans.
Ministers are examining plans that would see inter-county travel return on May 10th along with greater freedom to meet people socially.

Hairdressers and barbers will also return with the retail sector re-opening fully on May 17th.
Hotels will return on June 2nd with pubs and restaurants opening for outdoor dining from the 7th of June.
Tánaiste Leo Varadkar has said international travel won’t be a significant part of the discussions today, but it will need to be examined soon……………
Meanwhile, The European Parliament has approved plans for a so-called Covid passport to allow people travel within the EU.
It would show whether someone’s been vaccinated, tested negative or recently recovered from the virus and allow people travel in the EU.
Fine Gael MEP Colm Markey is optimistic it means foreign trips soon………….
