The Joe Bonner Road in Letterkenny is to be formally opened at the end of next week.
Donegal County Council has confirmed the new stretch which links Port Road and Neil T.Blaney Road will open on Friday the 18th of June.
There is a long term plan to have traffic lights on the Neil T Blaney Roadm junction, and until they have been completed, traffic exiting from Joe Bonner Road onto Neil T Blaney Road will be limited to Left Turn only.
When the lights are in place, the left turn restrictions will be lifted.
