Hotel and guesthouse operators in Donegal are urging the government to maintain Covid supports for the sector until June of next year, and to make the 9% VAT rate permanent.
Paul Diver, the Irish Hotels Federation Donegal Chair says while the past four months have been positive, 2021 as a whole will see occupancy rates of just less than half of what they were in 2019.
