There have been calls for a number of bridges to be repaired as a matter of urgency, on the road between Glenswilly to Meenaroy, after noticeable damage, as well as a number of collisions are said to have occurred on them.
Local Councillor Donal “Mandy” Kelly says that there are several bridges with issues in the area, including one bridge which has began eroding, and another which has proven to be accident-prone.
Cllr Kelly says that while the Council has provided assurances the bridges are towards the top of their list for inspection and repair, these fixes need to come sooner rather than later…
