A man accused of the murder of Lyra McKee has reportedly had his bail varied to allow him to holiday on one of Donegal’s islands.
34 year old Peter Gearóid Cavanagh, of Elmwood Terrace, Derry is charged with the murder of the journalist in April 2019.
BBC News NI is reporting that district judge Barney McElholm has granted permission for the accused to holiday on Arranmore Island.
