Met Eireann have put in place a status yellow weather warning for thunderstorms, as the current heatwave will come to an end with a massive change in the weather.
The thunderstorm warning will be in place from 3pm on Sunday afternoon, and will stay in place until the early hours of Monday morning.
Met Eireann have warned that while some places will stay dry, there is a risk of thunderstorm activity, as well as hail showers and heavy sudden downpours, that may lead to spot flooding and dangerous driving conditions.
