The Glenties Municipal District has been told that developments such as Sliabh League, Fanad Lighthouse and Malin Head would not have happened without Michael O’Heanaigh, who retired as CEO of Udaras na Gaeltachta at the end of last month.
He had previously worked with Donegal County Council in the Community Development Section, at one point serving as the manager of the Glenties district.
Cathaoirleach Anthony Molloy says they will be seeking an early meeting with new CEO Thomas O’Siochain, and paid tribute to his predecessor…………
