Donegal woman recalls paying respects to Queen lying in state

A Donegal woman queued 13 hours to pay her respects to Queen Elizabeth II.

World leaders including Taoiseach Micheal Martin and President Michael D.Higgins, will attend the Queen’s funeral this morning at Westminster Abbey.

The service begins at 11 o’clock, when British Royal Navy sailors will tow the gun carriage carrying the coffin to the Abbey from Westminster Hall.

Brenda who is originally from Creeslough now lives in Windsor where she owns a pub.

She told today’s Nine til Noon Show that it’s an important time for people who want to remember the Queen:
