A Donegal man has appeared in court in Northern Ireland facing six charges relating to allegations of historic sexual abuse against two former pupils of his.
79 year old Patrick Gerard Sharkey who now lives in France has denied the allegations.
Patrick Gerard Sharkey with an address at Route D’Oradour, Linards, France has pleaded not guilty to all the charges against him at Antrim Crown Court.
He faces two counts of indecent assault against one complainant on dates between August 31st 1992 and July 1st 1994.
He faces four similar charges against a second person alleged to have been committed between May 1st 1995 and December 31st 1998.
Both are former pupils of the accused.
Mr Sharkey was arrested in Coventry last June.
He has been released on bail with the trial set to get underway on February 13th 2023.
