The mayor of Derry City and Strabane has called on people to turn up and express their anger and frustration at Saturday’s cost of living demonstration.
The cost of living demonstration which was organised by Cllr Sandra Duffy is being held in the Guildhall Square at 12pm this Saturday, 24 September to highlight the pressures facing workers and families from rising energy bills.
Yesterday some measures were introduced to help families including a £100 oil payment and an energy cap, however, Cllr Duffy says they are not enough.
