A Glenswilly resident says a permanent solution must be found following another incident of heavy flooding in the vicinity of Glenswilly National School.
After heavy rain overnight, the area is once again affected this morning with one section of the road covered in water and residents stuck in their homes.
Theresa lives beside the school and says everytime there is a weather warning in place, residents are worried about what they will wake up to…………
Mayor of Letterkenny Milford Muncipal District Cllr Donal Mandy Kelly says the flooding today is not as bad as on previous occasions, but he’s called for an emergency meeting to be held to discuss the issue.
He says there is a solution, but the council is telling him it doesn’t have the money to pay for it……….
