Gardai probe weekend burglaries in Letterkenny

Gardai are investigating a number of break ins and car thefts in the Killylastin and Glencar Scotch area of Letterkenny over the weekend.
Details are today beginning to emerge about the thefts, which are believed to have taken place in less than an hour on Saturday night.
Jewellery, handbags and electrical items were taken by thieves who then stole two cars in which to make their getaway.
One of the cars was later found burnt out in the Drumkeen area in the early hours of Sunday.
