Most schools north of the border are closed today, as all five teachers unions go out on a one day strike seeking an end to what they say is over a decade of pay stagnation.

Donegal native Dorothy McGinley is President of the INTO, and a teacher in Sion Mills.

She says today’s strike is the culmination of a long period of industrial action……..
