The HSE has confirmed that the nursing situation on Tory Island has been reviewed.
Serious concerns were raised last week as it emerged the island was without a nurse due to sickness and no cover was available.
Provisions have now been made for nursing on the island until June 22nd after which normal nursing services will resume.
HSE Response:
The nursing situation has been reviewed and there is nursing cover for Tory Island until 22nd of June 2023 following which normal nursing services will resume.
