Police poised to launch Bloody Sunday murder inquiry

The PSNI is preparing to launch a murder inquiry into the deaths of 13 people on Bloody Sunday.
It follows a review of the findings of the Saville inquiry, which found that none of those killed by British soldiers in Derry in January 1972 were armed.
British Prime Minster David Cameron apologised to the victims’ families, after the report was published describing the killings as “unjustified and unjustifiable.
The Police Service of Northern Ireland has cautioned that its murder investigation could take four years to complete.
