An investigation is underway following the smashing of a window of an occupied home in Marion Park, Buncrana on Saturday evening last.
The resident of the home was upstairs watching the TV when they heard a smash shortly before 9pm.
A young man then fled the scene.
He is described as being tall wearing a black baseball cap and blue jeans.
Gardaí are appealing to anybody who travelled in that area around that time and who has a dash cam to make the footage available to them.
Those who can assist with the investigation are also asked to make contact.
