Killybegs Coast Guard conduct search at Rathlin O’Birne after reports of boat in difficulty

Killybegs Coast Guard were tasked today to a report of a boat in difficulty off Rathlin O’Birne.

The shore team conducted an extensive search of the area together with Rescue 118.

It was a false alarm with good intent.

The Coast Guard wish to remind the public to call 112 if anyone is in difficulty on land or at sea.
