A man has died following a serious assault in West Donegal last week.
A man in his 70s sustained serious injuries in the Derrybeg area on Sunday morning.
He was taken to Letterkenny University Hospital and was pronounced dead yesterday evening.
A man in his 30s was arrested and detained by Gardaí in connection the incident.
He was charged and appeared before Letterkenny District Court.
