Police in Derry say they conducted a road safety operation on Whitehouse Road in the city this week following concerns about speeding on a stretch of the road that is restricted to 30mph.
The stretch, which links Coshquin Road and Buncrana Road was previously a 60mph zone, but, in November last year, it changed to reflect the number of new houses in the area.
Police say they didn’t issue any tickets during the operation, but did speak with several drivers about their speed, and issued advice and guidance to them.
