Works are to commence this week on the Rathmullan Pier Refurbishment project.
Donegal County Council say they are scheduled to be completed by November.
The pier will be out of use for the construction period, however access to the slipway and ferry service will be maintained under traffic management.
The works are essential to secure the future of the pier and safety of all the pier users.
