Donegal fire services is to receive eleven new four wheel drive vehicle which the County’s Chief Fire Officer says will improve versatility and the safety of crews.
The vehicles will be stationed across the county at numerous locations.
The Department of the Environment, Heritage and Local Government is funding eight of the vehicles with the Council providing for the remaining three with a total investment of 360,000 euro.
