Hikers are being asked not to climb Errigal Mountain today and tomorrow as a helicopter will be carrying out vital works in the area.
The pathway up the mountain had been significantly damaged by heavy rain earlier this year.
A stop/go system will be in operation on the road adjacent to the car park on these days.
Josephine Kelly from Friends of Errigal says it is important that people hold off until the weekend to climb the mountain.
