Consumer prices rose by 2.2% per cent over the twelve months to the end of last month.
Inflation is recorded at the same level as June – with the largest increases were seen in transport, restaurants and hotels.
The Central Statistics Office has also published national average prices for selected goods and services.
There were price increases for potatoes, cheese, spaghetti and butter.
However bread and milk saw marginal decreases in costs.
