A Donegal man has been awarded €30,000 under the Clannad Scholarship – Fifty years in Bloom.
Údarás na Gaeltachta announced Daniel De Buitléir as the recipient this afternoon, to develop artistic work through the medium of Irish over a period of three years.
The scholarship is in tribute to the Donegal band and their impact on the Irish language over the past five decades.
