Confirmation of a new GP for Ardara Health Centre is expected from the HSE today.
Councillor Anthony Molloy confirmed to Highland Radio News last week that a replacement GP has been identified to take over the role from Dr Mireille Sweeney who is retiring today.
A statement confirming the signing of contracts for a new GP is expected shortly.
