Gardaí were recently alerted to the fact that the leisure centre at the Shore Front in Buncrana has been burgled over the course of the summer months.
The gym area was ransacked and the treadmill was damaged.
Its believed to have occurred between May 1st and August 27th when building was not in use.
Gardaí are asking residents in the areas who believe they have information to make contact.
