Income tax and USC looks set to be cut in the upcoming budget.
Finance Minister Jack Chambers will present his budget to the Dáil next week, including a bumper tax package of over 1.4 billion euro.
The higher tax bracket threshold is also expected to be increased again this year.
Junior Finance Minister Neale Richmond says the plan is, to ease the burden on the taxpayer.
